How I Cured De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis in Just 1 Month

De-Quervains-Tenosynovitis-in-Just-1-Month

I was diagnosed with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis by my doctor after she performed a Finkelstein test. One morning, I woke up and found that every time I attempted to use my cellphone, my wrist would hurt unbearably.

I went in to see my doctor, who had me take a Finkelstein test, which involves me bending my thumb over the center of my hand and then the other fingers over the top of my thumb.

This caused me to yell out in pain. The doctor told me I had Texting Thumb, better known as De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis. I asked her what I should do, and she said to put the phone down and give my thumb a break.

Now, this was not going to work for me, not one bit. I decided to try a few things out myself first.

I used an ice pack to ease the pain and reduce the swelling, this was effective, but I couldn’t do anything when I had the ice pack on, and the symptoms returned the next morning.

Then I decided to use a splint; I had read online that this was a standard De Quervains Tenosynovitis treatment.

Again this seemed to help, but I don’t know if you have ever worn a splint before, but they make you clumsy, and after knocking over a couple of drinks and breaking glass, I knew this wasn’t going to work.

I decided that medication may do the trick; I headed over to the pharmacy and picked up an anti-inflammatory pain killer.

This was a bad idea; I had an allergic reaction to them and was really sick for a couple of days. To be fair, they did eliminate the pain and inflammation for a few hours, but it came back and seemed even worse.

I read that you can use some home exercises to treat De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis, so I decided to give that a go. After one session of thumb lifts and thumb extensions, I was in more pain than when I had started.

This just wasn’t going to work for me; I needed something that made things better, not worse.

I was starting to lose hope when I stumbled upon

dequervainscure.com. I ordered up the De Quervains kit and waited a couple of days for it to arrive. I read the straightforward instructions and used the treatments immediately.

I put some De Quervains jelly on the affected wrist and thumb, then used the De Quervains wand to massage the affected area. After I was finished massaging for about 20 minutes, I cut some of the tape and used that as a point to keep the thumb from moving.

I was so shocked that I noticed a difference after my first use; that is usually not the case when you buy something like this at a great price. Well, I continued the treatment for the next two weeks, and much to my delight, I had no more symptoms of De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis or Texting Thumb, and life was back to normal.

I kept a hold of the treatments, though, because they can be used again and again. I will never be stopped by a case of Texting Thumb, also thanks to my De Quervains kit from dequervainscure.
